Kincardine Bantam LL in First Place
The season is early, but the Kincardine Bantam Local League team is in top spot in their division, having only lost 1 game so far this year. Two games this weekend were very close ending in a tie on Saturday against Shallow Lake and a win over Mount Forest on Sunday 4-3.
The Shallow Lake game was fairly even back and forth with the only goal scored by Aiden McKay, assisted by Robert McGregor. The Mount Forest game saw several penalties on both sides but the Kinucks came out on top with the first goal by Keno Tiu and a hat trick by Josh Catelo, with assists going to Griffin Potter and Cale Gibson.
An exhibition game is schedule this weekend against Goderich. Go Kinucks!
