Montgomery Ford Kinucks open preseason with a W
The KMHA Montgomery Ford Kinucks got their u18 BB season off to a successful start at Huron Park on Saturday night.
Rock-solid netminding by Macara and a strong second-half effort propelled the Montgomery Ford Kinucks to their first victory of the preseason against the South Huron Sabres.
After giving up a first-period goal, Macara shut the door on the Sabres shooters with the help the defence corps and forwards in front of her. Tegan pulled us even on a tremendous individual effort in the second period, and Dakota scored the game-winner in the third by taking a chip off the boards from Caydence and beating the South Huron goalie on a breakaway. Taylor sealed the deal with an empty-netter in the final 70 seconds. Mercedes and Gabby also picked up helpers.
