Last Game of 2010
On Thursday Dec 30th Kincardine's Sobey's Pee Wee girls travelled to Clinton for an exhibition game, with nine of their regular players missing in action.
The first period both teams showed their strengths, which were very equal. Kincardine's Sophia Tomani saved a few shots on Kincardine's net, while Brooke Storey, Alice Thorpe and Billie Patterson played a strong defensive game keeping the majority of play in Clinton's end, no score at the end of the first.
In the second Tori Hodgin's, Mackenzie Nashiem, and Korrine Mangotich played assertively, and broke through Clinton's big defensive line and had many shots on their net. Hayley Sorbara blasted through with an attempt on net with no goal. Near the end of the second Georgia Fields finally sunk a rebound giving Kincardine the lead 1-0.
The Third period brought Kincardine gathering their thoughts and attempting to increase their shots on Clinton's net. Madison McBride caught Korrine's rebound hoping for a second goal with no a veil. Clinton then busted through our defense line and scored their first goal of the game. Ending the game at 1-1. All the girls played strong with a great effort by all.
