Kincardine Atom LL #1 vs. Wingham
On Thursday November 13 Kincardine played Wingham in their home town.
In the first period Kincardine's goalie Rahul Deshpande was kept busy, he had many great saves, while most of the play was in Kincardine's end. Half way through the first Brady Masur assisted Andrew Leschied with the games first goal making it 1-0 Kincardine.
In the 2nd period Kincardine's Goalie Rahul was kept busy again, with some awesome saves between Kincardine's posts. Andrew Leschied tried again for a couple more goals, but was unsuccessful. Sam Colqahoun showed some great defense, while Josh Farrell Would not allow Wingham near our net, but eventually Wingham landed one making it 1-1. Andrew Leschied would not stand a tie score, he grabbed another goal assisted by Owen Jones, making it 2-1 Kincardine.
In the 3rd Kincardine's Owen Jones assisted Andrew Leschied's hat trick with an end to end rush making it 3-1 Kincardine. With a penalty call for Kincardine, the team kept Wingham at bay with no goals from the opposition. Great defense from Alex Fisk, Corbyn Fields and Matthew Johnston. But at the end of the 3rd Wingham scored again. Kincardine defeated them in the end 3-2. Great effort by all!
