Kinucks' show dogged determination in defeat against Bulldogs
In their first of two meetings the Kincardine Kinucks were defeated 9-0 this past Saturday November 16 by the Blyth Bulldogs.
The Kinucks could not penetrate the Bulldogs' determination regardless of their tactical ingenuity. Even the cat like agility of the Kinucks' net minder, Kasey B, wasn't enough to stop the onslaught of shots that seemed to come from all directions. The Bulldogs would out-shoot the Kinucks 29-6 by the end of the third period. In the end despite some great opportunities and hard work the Kinucks came up short. After a well earned break the girls practised early Sunday with the coaching team focussed on the next contest when the Kinucks play Mildmay.
