Bantam LL Boys take first win of the season
Bantam LL boys travel to Listowel for a lively affair.....
The Bantam team headed to Listowel for what turned out to be a spirited game.
Bellefeuille had to be alert as the boards were lively and the puck seemed to appear out of nowhere!
Hard forechecking by Matt Wilkinson and physical play by Scott Smith had Listowel on their heels until midway into the first period when Listowel managed to put one in. Jordan Boyle responded 4 minutes later, assisted by Tyler Dinsmore and Jordan Small. Listowel scored again late into the second period. Kincardine stepped up to apply the pressure and Jesse Hall connected on a fantastic one timer from a "thread the needle" pass by Jordan Small.
Listowel took the lead again in the third and not to be outdone Brendan McCartney got his first of the season, assisted by Jordan Boyle and Micah Stam.
Finally the Kincardine fans had some breathing room as McCartney scored his second of the game assisted by David Allingham and Dinsmore to take the lead.
A strong defensive effort by Sam Netzke, Cory Fair, Ryan Ball and Stam killed off a penalty late in the game to see Kincardine come out victorious for their first win of the season.
