A Rematch between Mount Forest and Kincardine
Bantam Boys head to Mount Forest for a rematch....
On November 09, 2008 the Bantam LL Boys travelled to Mount Forest looking to take a win, and first place in their division.
The first period saw Kincardine come out strong looking to take the early lead. Kincardine attempted to set the tone with physical play, however despite numerous chances, they could not put one past the Mount Forest goaltender.
Into the second period Mount Forest finally solved the Kincardine puzzle to take the lead.
Kincardine did not quit, and had numerous scoring chances of their own, but good defensive play by Mount Forest to clear the puck after the initial shot, shut down the Kincardine offense.
The intermission was a well needed rest for the Kincardine team, however they came out flat in the third period.
Mount Forest added two more goals for a final score of 3-0.
This will be an interesting match up in the future, for two equally skilled and teams.
