Peewee Kinucks on a Roll
On October 20th the team travelled to Walkerton to see what they had in store for us this year.

We got a shot on goal early stopped by Walkerton’s goalie Ryan Bester.  We were able to capitalize on a too many men penalty early in the first with the goal going to Jakob Dunlop assisted by Potter and Long.  This was followed shortly after by a goal by Grant Stevens assisted by Owen Jones and Andrew Leschied.  Goalie Ethan Primeau made a nice glove save in the first and was assisted greatly by his defence Raven Sharp, Colhoun, Virat Tripathi and Ben Netzke all through the game.  Kincardine had to kill a penalty before scoring again at full strength with a nice top shelf goal by Long assisted by Potter and Dunlop.  End of 1st 3-0.

Early in the second Walkerton returned and scored on Primeau.  The Walkerton goalie played awesome in the second stopping many opportunities by Kincardine.  At one point four of the boys were in the sin bin for roughing.  There were some beautiful passes by Kincardine players Burrows and Long but no goals.  Walkerton scored again in a scrum making the final at the end of the second 3-2.

Kincardine came back with a vengeance in the 3rd period.  They scored pretty early, Dunlop from Potter and then not long after, Owen Jones from Burrows.  The second goal in the third was scored short handed.  Burrows got his breakaway goal in the third unassisted.  Way to go Bully!  With less than five minutes left in the game Long scored top shelf again assisted by Colhoun and Tripathi.  The game got a little chippy at times and kudos to our young players for keeping their cool.
