The
Kincardine Legion Kinucks first game against Hanover took place November 28th.
The action started in Kincardine’s end, first goal going to Ethan Long assisted by Brett Burrows and Andrew Potter. The second goal was scored by Kurt Dunsbier assited by Grant Stevens making it 2-0 followed by a great save by Craig Luinstra. The end of third period ended up 3-0 with a goal by Ben Netzke helped out by Stevens again.
In the second period Hanover got one by Luinstra but Kincardine’s Jakob Dunlop returns the favour making the score 4-1 assisted by Netzke. The game got a little rough in the 2nd but Kincardine was able to kill their penalty.
The third period started with a penalty against Kincardine followed by a penalty against Hanover. Long to Potter and in 5-1. Nice goal by Hanover makes it 5-2 and saves from Luinstra keep it there. Great passing led to an exciting game all around. The boys play in Hanover next week.
