Very long day in Stratford
And we didn't even see Justin Bieber!!!
Last Sunday, after a two hour bus ride and a 50 minute game delay due to a lack of referees, the final game of the Provincial Playdowns for the Peewee Rep Girls was underway. By the end of the first period, Kincardine was down by two goals. Although we were unable to recover, the team played a strong defensive game and didn't allow Stratford to score for the remainder of the game. Christen Bell and Jordyn Surridge had great breakaways and shots on net but were unable to capitalize. Sophia Tomaini was strong in net.
The team looks forward to the upcoming end-of-year tournament in Thornbury in two weeks. They anticipate ending the season on a high note.
