Bantam Girls have action-packed weekend
Bantam Rep Girls Another action-packed weekend of hockey on home ice for the Kincardine Bantam Rep Girls hockey team.
Saturday saw the girls oppose Mitchell. Vicki Krulicki didn't waste any time in getting Kincardine on the scoreboard scoring just over a minute into the game with help from Vanessa Hodgins. The girls kept the pressure on Mitchell throughout the game but didn't get past their goalie until the third period with goals from Allen, Krulicki, and Boyd and assisted by Jolley, Allen, and Krulicki. Sunday's game against Mount Forest was a battle from start to finish. The girls kept the pressure on their goalie throughout the game but couldn't get one past her. Mount Forest, however, managed to slip a rare shot on net past Baker in the third breaking the girls' winning streak with a 1-0 loss. Thank you to the dedicated fan base we have built up with a long streak of home games; the next few weeks will be a series of road trips - to Sarnia, Milverton and a tournament in Stratford. The next home game is is December 17 in Tiverton.
