The Kincardine Pee Wee Rep B Sobey Girls team travelled to Windsor on Saturday Dec. 14 for 2:00pm game. Both teams where very evenly matched.
The Kincardine Pee Wee Rep B Sobey Girls team travelled to Windsor on Saturday Dec. 14 for 2:00pm game. Both teams where very evenly matched. Georgia Tanner assisted by Asia Machon and Lauren Thede opened up the scoring for Kincardine. Laura Foehkens, Asia Machon and Georgia Tanner had some great shifts and this resulted in a second goal by Georgia Tanner assisted by Asia Machon. Windsor received 3 penalties. Our forward lines peppered the Windsor goalie and our defense did a fantastic job of clearing the puck and taking away numerous chances for shoots on net. Marcelle Platt has continued her great goal tending and had numerous saves. Lauren O'Hagan, Emma Twolan and Slade Miller continued to press for goals and move the puck into the offensive zone. Kaileigh Heydon, Claire Hunsburger, Abby McCormack played very well and helped to keep the game tied at 2-2. With 23 seconds left in the 3rd period Windsor scored to win 3-2. The girls gave a good effort to tie the game in the remaining 23 seconds.
