Peewee girls gain a big Movember win for # 17 and remain on top.
On Friday Nov 28 the Kinucks were in Tiverton to face
TCDMHA. With Kennedy N placed on the IR
, the girls brought number 17 on the ice.
The team donned their Movember moustaches and #17 on their face and were ready
for a big win for Kennedy.
Despite coming out a bit flat in the first, Paige
M lit the spark the girls needed and opened the scoring unassisted with 3 seconds left in the first. The 2nd
saw some competition for the girls with hard battles from both teams in front of both net
minders. As always our defense was on par and Vana was hungry for the shutout and
denied any attempts from TCDMHA .
Halfway through the third, some quick passing, and good positioning allowed Chloe and Paige M to set up Kennedy F who put the Kinucks up by 2. Just two minutes later, Chloe gained her second assist of the game with a helper to Paige M who put another goal on the board for Kincardine.
The 3rd period saw some great skating and determination from the Kinucks, In just 3 minutes ,two goals from Brooklyn M, and one from Paige S put the girls up by 6. For a final of 6-0.
The Peewees remained undefeated , looking for win # 10 ,they will defend their title in Tiverton against Walkerton on Dec 13th .
