Let the Season Begin!
Peewee LL2 faced off against LL1 for the first game of the
season and the game got off to a heavy start with an immediate goal for the
opponents.
However, the boys held LL1 off from scoring any more goals in
the first period by some great defending, as well as some fantastic saves by
goalie, John Graham.
After an early goal for LL1 in the second period, LL2 came back hard with some great hustle and shots on net from forwards, with Tomas Nancekivell scoring a goal with just over 3 minutes left in the second period. After strong defence and some excellent passing, the team just couldn't tie it up before the end of the third period, and the score remained at 2-1 for LL1.
Learn from the game, be proud of successful plays, and come back even stronger the next time these two teams match up!
