It was a clear win for Peewee LL 2 this past weekend!
On Saturday, January 30th the Peewee LL2 team met against Saugeen Shores Storm (Port Elgin) on their home turf at the Davidson Centre.  They played confidently right from the first puck drop!

The boys played their positions well, and gained some ground early in the first period with effective passing and were able to pick up their first goal by Augustus Young, six minutes into the game.  With a hard push in the offensive zone, the boys didn’t give the opponents much of a chance to score.  They had multiple breakaways and some strong puck maneuvering skills allowing them to pressure the Storm players continuously.

The second period did bring one goal for the opponents, but it was quickly matched with a beautiful shot by Sam MacTavish, assisted by Tomas Nancekivell.  Just a few minutes after that goal, Brock Courtney picked up a nice pass from Chris McLarty and sent it right into the net!

Augustus was ready for another shot, and with the assistance and excellent passes from Noah Page to Jake Wall and then to Gus, he picked up his second goal of the game finishing off the second period with a score of 4-1 for Kincardine!  Daniel Melnikov played an excellent game in net with some strong saves.

With a hard push from all players, fast skating and strong passing, the boys were able to bring this one home with a bang.  What a way to end our regular season games, way to go!!
