Legion Peewee Boys back in Action!
Article submitted by Jennifer Cook
After an extended hockey break (darn snow) the Legion Peewee Boys hit theice in Walkerton on Wednesday Dec 10th.
It seemed to take them a while to
get their groove back but they came out victorious, final score, 5-0.
Jordan Bell was on fire with a hat trick (Ethan Skinner getting the assist
for each of the 3 goals), Riley Cook (from Keegan McLelland and Skinner)
and Garrett McFadden (assisted by Skinner). Seamus Small was awarded the
shut out. Congratulation Skinny for a 5 point night!
The Legion Peewee boys continued to show what good teamwork and discipline
can do when they faced Saugeen Shores Storm on Saturday Dec 13th. The Storm
came out with aggression our boys have yet to see. Saugeen Shores
frustrated by our flawless defense; Chase Ambeau, Brett Carter, McFadden
and Derrick Bernath did their best to draw some penalties, but our boys
remained cool under fire. Kincardine went on to score 5 unanswered goals, a
hat trick by Skinny (Carter and Bell in on all 3) and loan goals by Cook
(Farrell/ McLelland assisting) and Bell (Cook/Bernath getting the assists).
Kevin Chau managed a shut out for the match. Congratulations team! Keep up
the good work.
