At 2:28 of the first period, Scott Smith stormed the Minto net and on a great pass by Brendan McCartney broke the goose egg.
The action was back and forth for the second period with Kincardine having numerous scoring chances.
At 10:06 of the third period, Minto finally found the key to Tyler Bellefeuille's solid goaltending.
