This week the Kincardine Midget girls played host to two Ripley teams.
The first game was on Wednesday December 10th when the Kincardine Midget girls met up with the Ripley Midget girls. Kincardine won this game 5 - 1.
Later in the week on Sunday December 14th the Kincardine Midget girls faced off against the Ripley Intermediate girls. This game ended in a 3 - 3 tie. Ripley took the lead in the first period with one goal. The second period saw Kincardine even up the score with a nice goal by Brianna Cooper, assisted by Kaitlyn McDonell. Kincardine and Ripley were even in the third with both teams scoring 2 goals each to end the game in a 3 - 3 tie. Third period Kincardine goals went to Amanda Lawrence and Kayla Crouchman with assists to Crouchman, Carly Schmidt and Marissa Jolley.
The Midget Kinuck girls meet next on December 21st when they travel to Goderich to play against the Sailorettes. Good Luck Kinucks!
