Home against Listowel
The Canadian Tire Atom Reps played against Listowel on Tuesday night at the Davidson Centre. The Atoms came out slow and didn’t provide a lot of help for netminder Jamie Brock. Listowel led 6-0 after the second period – causing Coach Mike to provide an “inspirational” speech.
The Atoms responded as expected and skated to a 0-0 tie in the third period. The back checking of Bryce McFadden and solid defensive effort of Danny Skinner and Jacob Bishop kept the powerful Listowel team of the scoreboard. KMHA, and the Atom Reps in particular, are grateful to have Mike McDonald back coaching hockey. The Atoms play next against Mitchell on Saturday at the Davidson Centre.
