Clifford Tournament

The Cooperators Atom LL1 squad assembled in Clifford over the weekend for a day-long tournament. Much was at stake as Coach Tim vowed to burn his hat should the team end up 3-0.
Sadly, this was not to be the case as Kincardine dropped its first match against the Woolwich Wildcats 2-0. Very strong games by Drae P (lunchbucket award for his Defensive play) and Matt W. for his focussed offensive play and two shots on goal.
Heading into the B-side of the tournament, the team faced the cocky Port Stanley Lakers group. The game score duplicated the first, and it may have been higher if not for the superb goaltending of Everett L, who secured the second lunchbucket of the day. The team was ravaged by the flu bug and hopefully will be able to shake it off before too long. Strong plucky play by Justin M, Conner and Faith.
