The Montgomery Ford Bantam "B" girls have been busy since the 5-0 loss to Markdale whom in our opinion ( coach Gord & Dave ) mid season & at the moment is the team to beat in Bantam "B" girls hockey from our league WOAA !
The girls next game was Dec 2nd, playing Upper Maitland in Howick , winning 5-1. Then to Tiverton Dec 4th to play Normanby, winning 5-0 . The team staying busy , went to Lucknow Dec 6th , took part in the Lucknow team food drive for Xmas , then to play another league game vs Lucknow , the teams passing & efforts proved well , as they went on to win 6-0 . This game was a good warmup as Dec 11th the Ford girls went to Tiverton to play Blyth, one of the two only teams that has defeated us thus far out of 13 games . As it turned out the team really came to even the score & defeating Blyth 5-0 final score . They just were on fire, we now moved our record to 12 & 2
. With the closing to the weekend the players & coaches & trainers went to the Coaches residence for a Xmas party & dinner, with a Secret Santa event. Was Fun !
