Cougars vs Chesley
It was worth the drive to Chesley Saturday, for the
ferocious Novice #4 Cougars. At the outset, Chesley played strong,
keeping our net minder Gordie Reaume on edge. But Gordie was on top
of his game. The tides changed quickly and it didn't take long for Holden
Stevenson and Caydence Gibson to shake things up scoring back to back
goals.
Soon after Holden Stevenson and Ben Watson fired another 2 shots in. The Cougars continued to gain momentum and in the final moments of the game, Cameron Renaud snuck one past the goalie ending in a 5-0 win for Kincardine. Strong defensive play helped to rally goaltender Gordie to his first shutout of the season.
