Tough Start to Season
The Kincardine Womens Bantam HL started their season on the road with a tough loss. Danielle McBride chipped in her first goal of the season assisted by Georgia Fields to open the scoring. Mackenzie Nashiem assisted by Fields put the ladies up 2 with Fields assisted by McBride ending the 1st 3-0. Tired but high in spirits they pushed on in the 2nd only to be foiled by an after whistle chip in by Mount Forest. Kincardine would start the 3rd up 3-2 but Mount Forest fought back and with only 37.9 sec left roofed one over Goalie Amber Howald's shoulder to seal the deal. These women skated hard and never gave up and should be proud of their start to the 2012-13 season!!
