Boston Pizza Atom AE Defeat the Warriors 4-1
After a small drought in the win department, the Boston Pizza Atom AE
team traveled to Ayton to take on the West Grey Warriors.
The first period was end to end action with both goalies standing on their heads to keep the pucks out. Late in the second period Tyler Johns opened the scoring with a short handed dangle and deke. West Grey answered back with a scrum around then net goal that Kwade Beisel could do nothing about. A couple of hard hitting plays along the boards seemed to get the attention of the Kinucks. Chase Anderson scored in the third with a nice top shelf goal with the assist going to Graeden Colhoun. Brock Courtney scored next on a hard earned goal with assists going to Chase Anderson and Kole McCormick. Then late in the third with the West Grey goalie on the bench, Tyler Johns scored his second of the night with an assist coming from Myles Courtney. Some excellent defensive work from Graeden Colhoun, Spencer Humble, Thomas Harmsworth and Blake Edwards helped to keep the goals against to a minimum. The entire kinucks team worked hard and earned the win. keep up the great work!
