LEGION PEEWEES DEFEAT BCH
The Legion peewees played at home on Sunday evening as they tune up for the Regional Legion tournament this coming weekend in Lucknow.
The squad hosted BCH Sunday and came away with a 3-1 victory. Team captain Liam "toe-drag" Colhoun scored a TSN highlight of the night goal midway through the first going bar down on the backhand. The loan assist went to Mack "HAIR" Beisel. Colhoun added his second of the night shorthanded to put the Kinucks up by a pair. Nolan "smiles" MacKinnon would score the insurance marker half way through the third period on a nice end to end rush. Trent "the wall" Courtney was solid in net making timely saves, however BCH would break the shutout bid with a couple minutes remaining in the game.
A sluggish effort by the team, however as coach said "2 points at home is 2 points".
The teams first game of the Lucknow Legion tournament is Thursday night at 7PM as they try to defeat Blyth-Brussels.
