Peewees dig deep for the shut out win.
The Kinucks had to dig deep as they faced Upper Maitland in Tiverton today.
The team was down two coaches, two players and pretty exhausted from the ski trip and practice the day the before. The Kinucks were reminded to skate hard, be aggressive on the puck, and that they needed to work hard with the numbers stacked against them.

Scoreless through two, the girls skated hard and played good positional hockey. The Kinucks were robbed of a few breakaway chances by Upper Maitland’s stellar net minding.  The Kinucks defense stood strong and allowed only a few shots on Vana.

The third period saw some great passing and scoring chances from the Kinucks the girls continued to skate hard and fight for the puck, allowing quick passes from Paige S and Liz led to Brooklyn M potting one in halfway through the third. This excited the girls and gave them their second wind, looking for the insurance goal. Finally with 2 minutes left, Chloe capitalized on a turnover and with a beauty pass, Brooklyn M scored her second of the game for the 2-0 win.

The Kinucks visit Keady arena Jan 31 at 130 to face TCDMHA .
