Jamie Brock stole the show on Sunday afternoon at the Kincardine Davidson Centre as he led the Home Hardware Novice Reps to a 2 -0 victory over Mitchell. Brock stopped at least four breakaways including one with just two minutes to go for his first shut out of the season. Kendon Zettle opened the scoring mid-way through the first with an assist by Christopher Coady. Defense was stellar throughout the game as Emma Swift, Travis Anderson, Jacob Bishop and Jake Colley continuously blocked shots and skated down the large Mitchell forwards
With the score one to nothing late in the third, Bryce McFadden added the insurance goal after stick handling through the Mitchell defence and snipped one glove side. After the game, coach Mark Long congratulated the players for working hard and playing as a team.
