The Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Reps played three games over the last week. After disappointing loses to BCH and Walkerton, the Kinucks stepped it up a gear on Sunday beating Goderich 5 -1. Jacob Bishop was outstanding on defence as he consistently kept the puck in the Goderich defensive zone. With new centrewoman Emma Swift at his side, Darian Kuz had a break out performance scoring twice in the game as Travis Anderson assisted on Kuz’s first goal of the game. Kendon Zettle finished off a scramble in front of the net to get his second goal of the season. Armed with a new set of pads, Jamie Brock had another stellar performance between the pipes; he stopped many shots from in tight and a couple of breakaways. Bryce McFadden was certainly the player of week scoring in all three games with a grand total of six goals. Brennan Long added the only other goal against BCH. The Home Hardware Novice Reps are 2-2 in the regular season and are poised to continue their outstanding play with back to back games against Listowel.
