Weekend Sweep
The Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Rep Kinucks swept the mighty Listowel Cyclones in a home and away series over the weekend.

The Kincardine Home Hardware Novice Rep Kinucks swept the mighty Listowel Cyclones in a home and away series over the weekend. On Saturday, Home Hardware won 4-0 and was led by Darian Kuz and Bryce McFadden as they both notched two goals. Kuz, with new stick in hand, was set up by Emma Swift and Jacob Bishop. Jake Colley and Brennan Long cleared any rebounds that goalie Jamie Brock sent away from the net as he earned his second shut out of the season.

On Sunday, the Kinucks continued where they left off and handed the Cyclones a 5-2 defeat. Christopher Coady, and Austyn McArthur notched their first goals of the season as both hustled to the front of the net to bang home the rebounds. Jacob Bishop decided to get in on the act with a blast from the point, scoring his first goal of the year as well. Travis Anderson played some strong defence as Brock held the Cyclones to just two goals for the whole weekend. Kendon Zettle set up Bryce McFadden for one his two goals against the Cyclones on Sunday. McFadden has scored two goals in every regular season game so far, nevertheless, his defensive play has been just as strong as he continues to back check into his own zone. The Novice Reps have 4 wins and 2 losses on the season and they are riding a three game winning streak as they get better every game.
