The Home Hardware Novice Rep Kinucks went one for three in the recent Silverstick Tournament held in Kincardine, Tiverton and Ripley arenas. The Novice’s lost their opening games to BCH and Mitchell but bounced back in a win against South Huron.
In the win against South Huron, the line of Darian Kuz, Austin MacArthur and Bryce McFadden were on fire as they combined 4 times in the 5 -3 victory. Also, scoring was Christopher Coady from Kendon Zettle and Jacob Bishop. Emma Swift was tenacious on defense and helped goalie Jamie Brock hold South Huron to just 3 goals. Although, the Novices were disappointed at not making it to the semi-finals, the team ended the tournament on a good note.
