KINCARDINE HOME HARDWARE NOVICES HAD A THREE GAME WEEKEND !!!!

KINCARDINE KINUCKS VS. MILDMAY MONARCHS, December 3rd 2010.

Friday night in Tiverton the Novices hosted Mildmay, and skated to a convincing 10-1 victory.  Opening the scoring was Jordan Beisel, assisted by Jordan Moulton and Claire Hunsburger.  Other scorers in the first period were Zach Wall, and Beisel (with his second), assists went to Moulton, Beisel, Wall, and Hunsburger.  Second period goals came from Wall with three more (for a total of 4 on the night) and Georgia Tanner, assists were given to Hunsburger (2), and Liam Colhoun.  Third period goals came from Colhoun, Moulton, and Beisel.  Getting helpers were Tanner, Wilson Shipp, Ethan Petrie, and Hunsburger (2).  Hunsburger finished the game with six assists which made the coaching staff very happy as they are working on moving the puck up ice and making good passes.

KINCARDINE KINUCKS @ WALKERTON CAPITALS, December 4th 2010.

Saturday morning the team traveled across highway #9 to take on the Walkerton Capitals.  This game featured some early end to end action.  Kincardine was up 4-1 after the first. Goals came from Liam Colhoun (2), Georgia Tanner, and Jordan Beisel.  Assisting on the tallies were Tanner, Colhoun, Wilson Shipp (3), Hunsburger, and Wall.  The remainder of the goals all came in the final frame, Wall, and Colhoun closed out the scoring with assists going to Hunsburger, Moulton, Ethan Petrie, and Tanner.  Wilson (Brett Hull) Shipp also fired a rocket in and out of the net before the officials could see it, unfortunately Shipper wasn’t credited for the goal!

KINCARDINE KINUCKS VS. TEESWATER OTTERS, December 5th 2010.
 
The Kinucks finished there very busy weekend at home Sunday morning against Teeswater, with another convincing 7-0 win.  Goals came from Wall (3), Colhoun (2), Moulton, and Robert McGregor. Assists handed out to McGregor, Hunsburger (2), Tanner (2), Darcy Scott, Wall, Colhoun (2), Moulton, and Kaleb Smith.  Making all the saves necessary in between the pipes was Trent Courtney.  The coaching staff was satisfied with weekend play, but they insist that the team must keep working and skating for the whole game.
