KINCARDINE NOVICE REP TEAM SHUTS OUT LUCKNOW !!!
KINCARDINE KINUCKS VS. LUCKNOW SEPOYS , December 18th 2010.
The Kincardine Home Hardware Novices only had one game on the weekend. They played host to Lucknow Saturday afternoon, and came up with a convincing 7-0 victory.
As usual the team came out of the gates slow, but got better as the game progressed. Two goals came late in the opening frame, from Zach Wall and Jordan Beisel. Assists went to Ethan Petrie, Wilson Shipp and Wall. Goals in the second were earned by Wall, and Liam Colhoun, assists went to Darcy Scott, and Shipp. Wall added two more goals in the third (4 goals and 2 assists on the day), and Colhoun added another to his total. The lone assist in the third period went to Wall. Getting the shutout was Trent Courtney who had to be sharp to earn the donut! Molson Cup three star’s for the game were: 1st Star – Zach Wall, 2nd Star – Wilson Shipp, and 3rd Star – Trent Courtney. Next game for the Home Hardware Novices is this Wednesday, December 22nd when they travel to Goderich (6 pm start) for a final tune up entering the Regional Silver Stick Tournament (Dec. 27th – 30th). The Novice team plays there first game of the tournament Monday, December 27th in KINCARDINE at 9 AM against Goderich.
