Bantam LL Girls Off to a Roaring Start
The Montgomery Ford Bantam LL Girls got the 2010-2011 off to a
roaring start with convincing defeats against Walkerton (4-2) Lucknow (3-2) and
Tiverton (6-2).
If it wasn’t the lighting fast hands of the forwards, or the steadfast defensive play, it was the ingenious net minding that set these young women apart from their adversaries. Battling Keith had these words “What a great weekend of hockey. Not because we won but because you all played so well. The passing and back-checking was tremendous, everyone was playing like team and was being very positive on the bench and in the dressing room”. It has been tremendous and of course as Keith points out “it does not matter if you win or loose it just matters if you get more goals.” Once again a great effort by all.
