Canadian Tire Atom Girls bring home another win
On Monday October 15th the Canadian Tire Atom Girls rep team travelled to Teeswater for a feisty match.

The team came out determined with Georgia Tanner scoring unassisted early in the first period as she cut in from the corner and found the net. The teams second goal was soon to follow with a great move by Reilly Colhoun. Colhoun swiftly fed the puck up to Claire Hunsburger who drove to the Teeswater net and lifted it past the goalie. Both teams battled hard through the second period but with little result. Chloe Page played a strong game despite a minor injury in the third period. Exceptional teamwork was shown by Aysha Machan and Jessie Anderson throughout the entire game. Heidi Allen was integral in keeping the score low as she defensively held the blue line. Emma Dixon and Joanne Page kept the score at 2-0 until Teeswater/Mildmay was able to break through with a quick goal in the third period with only minutes remaining making the final score 2-1 for the Kinucks. Rose Pande, on loan while regular netminder Marcelle Platt remains out of the country, did an exceptional job in the net for the girls. "I was pleased tonight to see how the girls responded to adversity." said Coach Manny Page. The team faces TCDMHA Rebels in Tiverton at 1:30 on Saturday October 20th.
