Blyth Brussels game a NO SHOW
The girls showed up eager to try to give Blyth/Brussells a run for their money in a match tonite @ D/C , which was all of a sudden came to a end as the visiting team messed up on double checking the orginal schedule and their team was not aware of tonite. Their coach appoligised after calling from the arena & the inconvience of the refs showing and having to pay for them regaurdless . We are trying to reset the game up for December sometime. So on short notice, we split the girls into 2 small teams, played 2 - 15 minute halfs of 4 v 4 with no real winner. All though Bree Goulding our star goalie got in the action & laid a few shots on the other net & pulling
herself from net. Also Jorie Elliott , a solid RH winger & great RH defenseman, also wanted to give goal keeping a try tonite in the small fun game . As it turned out the teams tied. There was a few snap shots to see these girls in action. Needless to say, the girls had fun. Submitted by Gord Kemp
