After some bloodwork and tests, she has been diagnosed with Leukemia and willbe in the hospital for some time.Our prayers are with Jorie and her family as the team led this tournament off with a prayer in the dressing room prior tothe first game.

 . With Jorie's number painted on the team's faces and her jersey on the bench for luck, this team was on a quest
to win this tournament for her!
On Friday, the girls had two games. The first game was against Twin Centres. The final score of this game was 4-0 with goalie
Breanna Goulding earning a shutout. Goals were scored by Malorie Woods, assisted by Madison McFadden and

the LaSalle Sabre Cats again. Our girls came out on top of a 2-0 score. Goals were both scored by Woods,

This advanced the local girls to the final game on Sunday night against a very strong Ilderton Jets team. Ilderton rang
the buzzer first breaking Goulding's shut out streak. But Kincardine was not to be stopped and the mighty Ford girls
found the back of the net three times before the final buzzer. Shewfelt was the first to score, assisted by Moore and McFadden;
then Eden McFarlane, assisted by Woods and Stewart-Kemp then Stewart Kemp, assisted by Moore! Final score 3 - 1 and
Kincardine was awarded the banner and medals! The girls won the tournament for Jorie!
