The Montgomery Ford Midget girls finally get two playdown games in amongst all the bad cold weather lately and road closures ! On Sunday evening the team traveled to Durham to play West Grey warriors for their 1st game of playdowns . The game was a bit of a slow cold start for the Kinucks and after the 1st period of play, there was a 1-1 score. In the 2nd period the Kinucks took a lead with their 2nd goal. With the flood and the coaches give the girls some new tactics to implement, wasnt long into the 3rd period to grab a 3-1 lead, and having said that maintained this lead to the end to score a additional goal ( open net ) for a 4-1 victory .
Then on Wed Night in Tiverton the Ford girls played Owen Sound and certainly had their sticks working for a polite 10-0 win for their 2nd game in this series. The Kinucks wait till next Wed to play TCDMHA & Thrusday matched up against Saugeen Shores .
