T’was December the 12th when out on the ice, The players were ready to take their coaches advice. The puck was dropped, the game on its way, When Novice LL#4’s Noah Swann made a scoring play. With a 1-0 lead, Swann wasn’t done yet, He batted the rubber again in the net! Now a 2-0 lead, Team #4 on a roll, Team #1 was needing a goal.
When out on the blue line who did appear? Team #1’s Heidi Allen with a sly little sneer. Brooklyn MacAthur sent Allen the puck And into the twine it went with some luck. Now with an exciting 2-1 score, The crowd clapping and cheering and looking for more! With time running out, the pressure was on, A pass from John Graham to Owen Thorn…and then Thorn was gone! Away to the net, he flew like a flash, Burying the puck in the net with a crash. Evening the score with a 2-2 all, Rose Pande, Team #1’s goalie was standing tall. Thorn on a mission to look for a hole, Got robbed by Team #4’s keeper and The Ref yelled ”NO GOAL”! A good hussel by all, the whistle ending the game Making the score a 2-2 final, a point for both teams to claim!
