NOVICE TEAM EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO 14 GAMES
The Home Hardware Kinucks extended there current winning streak to 14 games, with a pair of wins on the weekend.
Friday night the team hosted the Hanover Falcons in Tiverton, and won in convincing fashion 14-0. It was a quiet night for Ryan Wheeler and Jared Petrie in net, but they managed to keep the zero on the score clock. Goals came from Jordan Beisel (4), Jordan Moulton (4), Wilson Shipp (3), Noah Swann (2), and MacKenzie Beisel. Assisting on all the scoring were Heidi Allen (4), Darcy Scott, Owen Thorn, Jordan Beisel, MacKenzie Beisel, Moulton, Shipp, and Swann.
On Saturday the team headed to Harriston to play the Minto Mad Dogs. It was a total team effort which earned the Kinucks a well deserved 7-2 victory. Goals were scored by Moulton (3), Shipp (2), Jordan Beisel, and Swann. Setting up the goals and earning assists were Jordan Beisel (2), Shipp (2), Nolan MacKinnon, Jessica Anderson, Scott, and Mitch Pyke.
The team is preparing for a one day tournament in Durham on Saturday, January 14th.
