Canadian Tire Atoms dominate Walkerton Nov. 22nd in Tiverton
Written by Tracy Primeau:

The game started with a great rush on Walkerton’s net by Brett Burrows, Craig Luinstra and Owen Fokhens but no goal.  The team has some great passing in the first period leading to many scoring opportunities and the Kinucks were finally successful with a goal by Bradley Pickett assisted by Luinstra and Kurt Dunsbier.  Seconds later Fohkens scored assisted by Burrows to end the first period with a score of 2-0, Kincardine.   Kudos to Jakob Dunlop and Danny Skinner for helping out in the defensive end.

Brett Colhoun made a good effort at the beginning of the 2nd period but no goal.  Walkerton got a penalty for body contact and Burrows scored the power play goal with help from Fohkens.  Burrows followed that up with a couple of penalties but defense was supporting Ethan Primeau in net and kept the score at 3-0.  Ben Netzke was taking away the puck from Walkerton as much as he could.

The third period started with Kincardine’s Ethan Long scoring a beautiful goal making the score 4-0.  However, Walkerton pushed back hard in the 3rd with a lot more shots on Kincardine’s goal eventually scoring one just off the glove of Primeau.  Long helped out the goalie himself and although another shot was blocked by Primeau he was beat on the rebound.  Final score 4-2.
