Kincardine Atom boys Rep. team played Goderich Sailors in Goderich on December 13, 2008.

1st Period, though Dunlop and Skinner did a great job on defence, Goderich was able to gain a goal within the first minute of the game. Long did everything he could to keep the puck out of our end. Primeau took a dive for the team to keep that puck out of the net. Way to go Ethan. With only 5 1/2 minutes left in the first period, Burrows scored a goal for Kincardine. Luinstra received a penalty for tripping. Goderich scored one more goal with only 36 seconds left in the first period. End of first period score ended with 2-1 for Goderich Sailors.
Kincardine played harder in the second period with Burrows and Long making great passes and keeping the Goderich goalie on his toes. Burrows made two more goals in the second period (hat trick) assisted by Netzke and Sharp. Luinstra scored and was assisted by Fohkens. Colohoun, with only 24.6 seconds left in the second period made a beautiful corner shot on net and scored. This goal was assisted by Skinner. Goderich made one more goal with only 10 seconds left in the second half.
End of second period the score was 5-3 Kincardine.
In the third period, Goderich scored right away and then received a penalty for tripping. This gave Kincardine a power play. Burrows with assistance from Long scored again. Two more goals scored by Burrows, one unassisted and the other assisted by Luinstra and Netzke.
Game ended 8-6 for Kincardine Atom Boys Rep team.
