Bantam Girls Rep, 2010-2011 (Kincardine Minor Hockey Association)

Article by Rob Duncan The Kincardine Bantam Girls exceeded all expectations and won the Silver medal in the Bantam BB division at the OWHA Provincial Championships held in Mississauga.  A total team effort contributed to a 5-1 record with the only loss coming against Waterloo in the Gold Medal final.

The Bantam Girls Rep team exceeded all expectations this past weekend competing in the Bantam A International Silver Stick in Aurora.  After getting bumped up to Bantam BB and thereafter denied access to league playoffs, the team was just looking to get some competitive games in before the Provincial Championships in April.

The Kincardine OilGard Kinucks came out strong on a very cold sunday night in Mount Forest with Baker earning the shut out. Kincardine full of energy scoring in the first period. A goal in a mess of players each for Ashley Boyd and Victoria Krulicki, assisted by Jorie Elliot and Hailey Allen. In the second Allen scored a getaway goal assisted by Krulicki.  A good warm up for Monday night's neighbour town in Walkerton   Alot of steam or would this be fog between these two teams very competitive saw Kincardine dominating in Walkerton's end saw a bit of a brouhaha ensue.
