The Black were back on Saturday to face of against blue as the visitors.
Right of the hop, at 9:45 Black’s Thomas Harmesworth shot down to Blue and fired in a goal. Black continued to come hard against the Blue with Number 9 Jude and Number 5 Dylan following with some shots at net that were repelled but just barely. Dylan and No. 8 Malcolm were a hard working defensive team that kept the Blue hustling and the Black forwards in play at Blue end. The hard defence kept up even with shift change that saw Sophie and Ela also clearing the black end and making some great passes up to Black’s forward. Goalie Aaron Urie made some great saves throughout the game. In the 3rd period Blue poured on their attack Black answered both defensively and offensively with No. 10 Charlie at 4:22 in the second. Although Blue came out on top with the sharp shooting of Blue Player No. 8 and some good goal tending, both teams continued to demonstrate their knowledge of the games gets better and better with only a few penalties and fast moving shift changes. Way to go!
