Strong penalty kill gives Kincardine Scotiabank Atoms girls a tie.
The Atom girls faced South Bruce C on Saturday in Tiverton.  Late in the first the Kinucks took back to back penalties. Thanks to our strong defense, the girls only allowed one shot on our net, killing both penalties with no harm done on the scoreboard.
The second period saw a hard battle for the puck and halfway through South Bruce opened the scoring with a bouncing puck just sneaking past Vana.

The Kinucks kept pressing hard and turned on the offense with great rushing and positioning, setting up many scoring chances and shots on net. The Atoms were only down by one going into the third.
Then Heidi Allen’s persistence and determination paid off as she found the back of the net, for final score tied at one.

Gabby Legge was player of the game for both her defensive and offensive plays and determination.
The Atoms face the Walkerton Capitials in Tiverton on November 30th.
