Congratulations to the Kincardine Atom AE Kinucks who are WOAA “B" Champs. Having finished the regular season at the top of their league, the team received a bye for the first round of OMHA playoffs. The Kinucks then faced the Listowel Cyclones in a best of five series with the first game in Kincardine on January 7th. The Kinucks came out blazing, with Alex Colley-Aquino blasting it off the crossbar,from Jesse Page, in the first 8 seconds of the game. Colley-Aquino finished off a shot from Dylan Chinnick to make it 2-0 Kincardine.

The Kincardine Atom AE Kinucks have finished regular season play in first place defeating the Listowel Cyclones AE in Listowel on January 2nd. Listowel started off the scoring in the first period but 2 penalties by Listowel set up a 5 on 3 for Kincardine with Dylan Chinnick tipping in a shot from Spencer Humble on a pass back out from Jesse Page.

The Kincardine Atom AE Kinucks have been busy with exhibition and regular league play . The team finished exhibition play with the Collingwood Blackhawks on Sat Dec 12 in Tiverton. Having defeated the Blackhawks the previous weekend 5-2 in Collingwood, the team pulled out a 2-1 win, with Dylan Chinnick blasting his way to two goals, the first assisted by Jesse Page and Alex Aquino-Colley and the second goal assisted by Aquino- Colley.

With Coach Seabass back at the helm, the Kincardine Atom AE Kinucks put another notch on their belts, with a win at home on Sunday Nov 29th against Wingham. This game saw defenceman Thomas Harmsworth open up the scoring in the first period, set up beautifully from Dylan Chinnick and Kole McCormick. The Wingham goalie never had a chance as Harmsworth blasted a slapper from the blue line. Less than 2 minutes later,Maddox Burgess fired an unassisted goal to close out the scoring in the first period.

When " the cat's away the mice will play"- and play the boys did! While coach Seabass was enjoying a well deserved break, the Atom AE Kinucks faced off against Mitchell in Kincardine on Friday Nov 27th. With coaches Page and Colley stepping up on the bench - the boys went on the offensive throughout the game, working together for multiple shots on the Mitchell net, with the first goal scored at the end of the 1st period. Maddox Burgess blasted it past the goalie from a perfect pass from Alex Colley-Aquino.
