Written by Ron Sayle Game one of the Bracebridge bantam tournament saw the Kincardine Timbermart Bantams take on a strong Tilsonberg team. A close checking game kept it a low scoring affair which ended the score tied at two at the end of regulation time. Overtime saw the both team’s trade chances with Tilsonberg getting the game winner off a bad bounce and a favorable turnover. Goal scorers for Kincardine were Dylan Sayle and David MacFarlan, with assists going to Cody Bowes and Michael Osadca.

Written by Ron Sayle It was a nervous time for the coaching staff of Dennis Howard and PJ Slade as the TIM-BR Mart Bantams squared up for the initial face-off with the Mitchell Meteors on the second game of a back-to-back weekend series. The first game in Mitchell saw the Kincardine squad lose focus and discipline resulting in a steady stream of frustrated Kincardine players to the penalty holding area. The end result saw the home town boys take a good old-fashioned butt kicking to the tune of 8 to 1.
