Game one had the TIM-BR MART Bantams matched up with the league rival Hanover Barons. It was a slow start for the Kincardine, as Hanover jumped to a two nothing lead early in the first. After a quick time out and a firm discussion from coach Catto the boys refocused and settled down to their patented physical style and fought back. First star of the game Garrett Satosek lead the charge with his first hat trick of the season with singles going to Brady Collins and Mitch Dickson. Keeping the Hanover team at bay was Trevor Ammerman with a number of highlight real saves to allow the Kincardine comeback, final score 5-2 in favor of the home squad.
